Use cases – E-commerce Website

E-commerce Website

CONTEXT

The retailer Apparel123, which specializes in apparel, accessories, and footwear, made the decision to create an online storefront in order to increase its customer base and offer an online buying experience. As the most dynamic region in terms of sales, it first sought to target the Western European market. The company wanted to design an e-commerce website that was easy to use and aesthetically pleasing in order to highlight its products, improve the online shopping experience, and increase online sales.

The main objectives of Apparel123‘s e-commerce website were to build a strong online presence, raise brand awareness, draw in more clients, and boost income from online sales. Through the website, customers would have the convenience of browsing, choosing, and buying products from the comfort of their homes. Think of it as a digital storefront.

For the purpose of designing, developing, and launching the e-commerce website, Apparel123 would work with a seasoned web development team (web agency). To guarantee peak performance, ongoing upkeep, updates, and monitoring would be necessary.

In order to address the needs of the Spanish, French, German, Dutch, Italian, and Polish speaking audiences, the website would also need to be localized. To this end, professional translators would need to collaborate closely with the web developers.

CHALLENGE

The Apparel123 e-commerce sales teams needed an all-in-one cloud-based platform that would allow them to communicate in real-time via email or chat with the web developers and translators.

Ideally, the platform would be secure and allow for the confidentiality of all communications.

Practically speaking, the translated content would have to be sent to the web developers.

The
Apparel123 e-commerce sales team would also need to be kept up-to-date on the document exchange in real-time in case Apparel123 needed to update their requirements at any time. This would enable all parties to communicate quickly, clearly, and efficiently.

It would also enable the best use of available resources, which would ultimately result in lower costs for Apparel123 as the web agency charged by the hour.

Contractor proposals would need to be validated and stored in the system, as would invoices, and costs would need to be tracked over time.

OUTCOME

Following extensive due diligence, Apparel123 decided to use the secure, cloud-based SaaS platform Ya-Hub, which is hosted over https and has a chat feature that facilitates easy communication between all project participants.

The documents could be shared via chat and kept in each user’s dedicated cloud space. In addition, it was possible to list projects and monitor their progress in real-time. And, a task management functionality was included to guarantee total transparency in the recording and completion of tasks.

Regarding cost management, Apparel123 could review and decide whether to accept the estimates from the web agency and translation agency. The system allowed users to view and pay contractors’ invoices. Finally, Ya-Hub‘s integrated bookkeeping module allowed for the recording of every expenditure. Everything in one place.

The e-commerce website was launched within the delays provided by Apparel123‘s e-commerce sales team and management team, all thanks to the Ya-Hub platform’s smoothness and capacity to have all parties working together in a synchronized way.

Now that the e-commerce website was up and running, Apparel123 anticipated the following results:

-Rise in revenue and sales on the internet.

-Greater consumer base and brand awareness.

-A more seamless shopping experience that resulted in increased customer satisfaction.

-Improved insights into customer behavior and preferences through web analytics

-Strong online presence that provided a competitive advantage in the fashion retail industry.

Finally, Apparel123 was able to meet its stated business objectives thanks to their successful online store, and the use of the Ya-Hub platform played a significant role in that.
