Use cases – Corporate Website

Corporate Website

CONTEXT

XYZ Global Inc., a multinational conglomerate with a wide range of business interests, had decided to launch a new corporate website in order to strengthen its online presence, improve communication with stakeholders, and improve its business image.

The company’s goal was to develop a professional and informative website that would serve as a centralized platform for sharing corporate information and engaging with various stakeholders.

The primary goal of XYZ Global Inc.‘s corporate website was to serve as a comprehensive and user-friendly digital hub for various stakeholders, such as customers, investors, employees, and the media. The website aimed to promote the company’s mission, values, accomplishments, and business units while encouraging transparency and trust.

XYZ Global Inc. would collaborate with a professional web development team to design, develop, and launch the corporate website. Before going live, the website would be tested for functionality, security, and accessibility, with an external User Experience team (researchers, designers) in charge of the testing.

Furthermore, the CEO desired that their corporate website be localized in the main languages spoken by their international audience, namely French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Danish, Arabic, Japanese, simplified Chinese and Thai. The website would also include a FAQ section as well as terms and conditions. The latter necessitated legal knowledge.

CHALLENGE

There was a need to implement a centralized project management platform that could seamlessly integrate with cloud storage services. It was critical for this platform to support real-time communication, file sharing, and collaborative editing features in order to facilitate effective teamwork across the diverse disciplines.

Adoption of such a unified interface would streamline workflows, increase productivity, and promote cohesion among the teams, ultimately leading to the successful completion of the project.

The project schedule and resources could be efficiently managed by contractors and XYZ Global Inc. by defining milestones and monitoring them in real-time.

In this way, any delays or problems would be addressed, and everyone working on the project would be informed about its status and able to take appropriate action. Stakeholders could use real-time data to make informed decisions and stay updated on the project’s status.

Overall, incorporating milestones into the system would increase transparency, accountability, and efficiency in project management for all stakeholders.

OUTCOME

The Ya-Hub platform was selected to fulfill the project’s requirements following extensive research, a protracted selection process, and the utilization of suggestions from XYZ Global Inc. internal stakeholders.

Ya-Hub provided an extensive collection of tools, all in one location. XYZ Global Inc.‘s marketing team (buyers) and the external contractors (web developers, UX teams, and linguists, including legal translators), could communicate with each other in real-time through the Ya-Hub Software as Service platform.

For improved team cohesiveness, each user could have their own Ya-Hub account, with the option to personalize their own profile (changing passwords, etc.) and, if necessary, customize the User Interface to match the project’s colors.

Furthermore, all projects could be listed and updated by the contractors, while the buyers (XYZ Global Inc.‘s marketing team) monitored the projects’ progress in real-time. Ya-Hub also allowed all users to create tasks that served as milestones throughout the project’s duration.

The following goals were the focus of XYZ Global Inc.‘s new corporate website launch:

-A better online presence and corporate image.

-Increased transparency and involvement from stakeholders.

-Simplified interactions with the media, staff, investors, and consumers.

-Enhanced availability of corporate data.

-Conformity with industry standards and best practices for accessibility and web design.

Thanks to the Ya-Hub platform being used by all contractors (web developers, UX teams, and translators) to plan and execute tasks, communicate, and report to XYZ Global Inc., the new website launch was completed on schedule and at the expected quality level.

Eventually, all of the objectives outlined above could be met.
